Triglav, from where it ascends past the bivouac to Luknja (1.754m). From the hut, the route leads along the most beautiful paths to Dedno Polje, and further to Koča na Planini pri jezeru (1.435m). We continue to the mountain pasture Laz and to Kosijev dom na Vogarju (1045m). Here the route descends to Planinska koča na Vojah (690m), continues to Mostnica Waterfall, past Jezerski stog to Malo polje and ascends to Vodnikov Dom on Velo Polje (1.817m). The route then takes us to Konjsko Sedlo (2.019m) and through Zgornja Krma to Krma Valley. The route continues along the valley all the way to Kovinarska Koča v Krmi (870m) to the Radovna Valley. A certain part of the route (20%) also runs along forest paths, and a smaller part (10%) of the route runs along the gravel paths. The route is suitable for experienced mountain runners who have excellent physical and mental fitness.
Special Note
The area around Mt Triglav is truly secluded, so much so that from the 12th to the 38th kilometre of the trail, it can be accessed exclusively by helicopter. Runners must be especially aware of this fact, prepare accordingly and participate with full responsibility.
Supply of some Feed Zones is possible only with the help of a helicopter, due to the rugged and unaccessible Alpine terrain. Therefore additional organizational procedures and maneuvers are needed, as well as additional costs for the helicopter transport of the needed equipment and staff.
Competitors will receive final information about Triglav Trail Race course with gpx file and all the rules of the race by August 10th-12th, 2025. The course may change by a few percent since it was originally published in August 2023.
